During the months of June and July, the programs for our Thursday evening concerts are listed in the Emporia Gazette, and are also announced during the morning show on the KVOE radio  station. Of course, you can find the programs listed here as well!

OUR 70th YEAR!! The Emporia Municipal Band was chartered by the City of Emporia in January of 1941, after the 161st Field Artillery Band had been called to active duty, and gave its first performance in a parade on Saturday, April 12, 1941. The 2010 Summer season will be the Band's 70th!
